![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The members are coming from all over Germany and some of them even from parts of Denmark, France, The Netherlands and Poland. Inescapably there are only four to five practice weekends throughout the whole year - therefore very intense and effective. Their program the LUDWIGSTEINER present in the European Youth Week and on their trips to foreign countries. It mainly consists of new and old folkloric dances that are combined to suites in which little stories are told. For example there is the "Zimmermannssuite" (choreography: Thomas Schmidt) that shows the experiences two fellows make on their trips. Another suite, the "Till Eulenspiegel-Suite", describes the jokes Till is trying to trick the other citizens with. On stage the dancers are accompanied by a music chapel of six musicians. Even though most of the 25 dancers are in between 14 and 30 years old, there are also younger and older ones. New dancers are always welcome. The material for the small dance stories is mainly taken from German folkloric and youth dances. They are choreographically and musically edited for stage.
