Sponsorship
The work of the society and especially the costs for the European Youth Week are carried mainly by the ca. 100 committed members. The proceeds of our two fairs and of our public folk dance performances are used exclusively for running the European Youth Week.
Nevertheless since its origins in 1953 the European Youth Week suffers from financial worries.
In recent years the costs for the Castle increased and the public sponsorship is not sufficient to cover the costs for the European Youth Week. Holding the European Youth Week in the last years has only been possible by even more commitment of the members and consequent savings.
