Easter eggs and the different customs and techniques of preparing them have been at the centre of attention during our Easter fair since 1983. Easter egg artists from several countries show their techniques and show-pieces - and of course there is the possibility of buying one or more of these little works of art.

Since its inception the Easter fair has been a big attraction in the region around Witzenhausen and every year many visitors come and see the customs and techniques of making easter eggs.
At the Easter fair you can see international easter egg artists (from Germany, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Austria, China…), high-quality arts and crafts and also special exhibitions, e.g.: blue printing, weaving, silhouette art, regional embroidery and much more.
For the children there is a special attraction: an "Easter Egg Painting School", where every child has the chance to paint his own easter egg or to work on easter decoration.
Of course there is a good opportunity for the parents to have a closer look at the exhibitions and easter eggs presented.
